Wisconsin Public Service (WPS) employees care deeply about the communities where they live and serve. That’s why employees chose to donate $5,000 this quarter to Make-A-Wish Wisconsin.

The donation is part of the WPS Safety Charity Challenge, a companywide program to encourage employees to live and work safely while positively impacting their local communities. Employees have the opportunity to direct a contribution from the WPS Foundation toward one of several charities at the end of each quarter when safety goals are met.

This quarter, they selected Make-A-Wish Wisconsin, a nonprofit organization that helps unique wishes come to life for children facing critical illnesses. Make-A-Wish Wisconsin gives children the chance to make a dream come true, from creating a custom outdoor playhouse to going on a shopping spree to taking a remarkable family vacation. In 2025, Make-A-Wish Wisconsin granted wishes for more than 400 children across the state.

Make-A-Wish Wisconsin is one of hundreds of nonprofit organizations WPS and the WPS Foundation are proud to support every year.
