Wisconsin Public Service (WPS) employees care deeply about the communities where they live and serve. That’s why this quarter, employees chose to donate $5,000 to the American Red Cross chapter in northeast Wisconsin.
The donation is part of the WPS Safety Charity Challenge, a companywide program to encourage employees to live and work safely while positively impacting their local communities. Employees have the opportunity to direct a contribution toward one of several charities at the end of each quarter when safety goals are met.
Following the 3rd quarter of 2025, WPS employees selected the American Red Cross, a nationwide nonprofit organization that helps meet the needs of individuals, families and communities facing emergencies or a disaster. Along with providing disaster relief, Red Cross chapters in Wisconsin work to improve community health and safety, provide support to military members and their families, and help collect and distribute blood donations to support lifesaving efforts.
The American Red Cross is one of hundreds of nonprofit organizations WPS and the WPS Foundation support every year.
