Wisconsin Public Service (WPS) is earning more national recognition for providing outstanding service to its customers. WPS has been named a 2024 Customer Champion by Escalent, a top data analytics and advisory firm, for its high scores in customer engagement.
The honor is based on the impressive performance of WPS from Escalent’s 2024 Utility Trusted Brand & Customer Engagement: Residential study. WPS earned the second-highest score in the nationwide study, which evaluated 142 utilities on their customer service efforts.
“This honor reflects our commitment to providing world-class service to our customers,” said Mike Hooper, president — WPS. “Our employees focus each day on delivering the energy that keeps homes warm and businesses thriving in our communities. Their tireless dedication to our customers is what makes an award like this possible.”
Strengthening the grid and supporting customers
WPS is being recognized as a Customer Champion for delivering affordable, reliable and clean energy and effectively communicating these efforts with customers across northeast and north central Wisconsin. The company continues to build resilient infrastructure and bring new renewable energy facilities online across Wisconsin.
Additionally, Customer Champions like WPS outperform their peers by educating customers about energy-saving programs and tips, assisting them with upgrades, and providing convenient options to manage their service.
Partnering together to build brighter futures
WPS also is being recognized for its efforts to give back to its communities. The company’s charitable giving organization, the WPS Foundation, works with hundreds of nonprofit partners each year. These partnerships help improve the culture, development, education, environment and health of the communities WPS serves.
The recognition from Escalent is the latest national honor for WPS. The company received industry awards in 2024 for outstanding customer satisfaction and electric reliability.
