The Wisconsin Public Service (WPS) Foundation is helping even more students take their next steps toward career success. The foundation is increasing funding for its technical college scholarships, awarding $25,000 through this year’s program.
The WPS Foundation is now accepting applications for its 2025 technical college scholarships. Scholarships are awarded to help eligible students work toward completing a one-year technical diploma or two-year associate degree program.
Legacy of enhancing educational opportunities
The WPS Foundation’s technical college scholarships are part of its commitment to enhance education and support area students. The scholarships help graduating high school seniors continue their education at select Wisconsin technical colleges. Last year, the scholarships helped 25 students begin working toward careers in fields such as electric power distribution, engineering, human resources and information technology.
The WPS Foundation has donated more than $6 million through all of its scholarship programs since it was founded in 1964, helping thousands of students pursue college degrees or technical diplomas.
